Are you eager to learn and ready for a challenge? You can earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree in less time. The BS/MS Pathway in Mechanical Engineering allows degree-seeking students to seamlessly transition from undergraduate to graduate studies, accelerating their academic and career goals.
Students admitted to the BS/MS Pathway retain undergraduate status until they graduate with their bachelor’s degree. After earning their bachelor’s, students gain graduate status and become eligible for graduate assistantships.
The BS/MS Pathway allows students to count to six credit hours of graduate courses toward both the BS and MS degrees, saving time and money. These credits can fulfill elective requirements for the BS degree and core requirements for the MS degree, provided the courses are approved and a minimum grade of "B" is earned.
Only courses with formal lectures are eligible for dual credit. Students are responsible for confirming course eligibility with their undergraduate advisor.
