Before you can use AMERI labs or equipment, you must complete the new user registration process. Follow the steps below to get approved as an AMERI user.
Become a New AMERI User
- Complete the required safety training: Fire Safety, HAZCOM, Laboratory Hazard Awareness, and Compressed Gas Cylinder Safety.
- Gather all completed safety training certificates and combine them into a single PDF file for submission.
- Create a FIU Facility Online Manager Account.
- Fill out and submit the New AMERI User Request Form.
Next Steps
After submitting your information, AMERI staff will review your application and confirm your FOM account and safety training. Once both steps are complete, email Alex Franco, Ph.D., at afrancoh@fiu.edu to schedule a facility tour and review any additional equipment training.
