Undergraduate students at FIU are allowed to register for graduate courses, subject to the following conditions: Undergraduate students with senior standing may register for 5000 level courses only. The student must have an upper division GPA of 2.8 or higher, and must obtain permission from the undergraduate student advisor.

Undergraduate students at FIU who have been accepted to the ME graduate program may also register for graduate courses prior to receiving their BS degrees. Up to six hours of graduate courses completed with a grade of B or better prior to the receipt of their BS degree may be applied to the graduate degree. However, courses applied to the graduate degree may not also be applied to the BS degree.
